New Plant Manager for the VBG GROUP plant in Vänersborg

Per Sandberg has been appointed new Plant Manager of VBG GROUP´s re-structured plant in Vänersborg. He is taking up the new position with immediate effect. In 2008 the VBG GROUP Board of Directors took the decision to move the production of Ringfeder trailer couplings from the factory in Krefeld to the factory in Vänersborg.Consequently the complete VBG GROUP coupling program will now be delivered from Vänersborg.  Deliveries of Ringfeder trailer couplings from Vänersborg already started in October this year and the move will be concluded before the year end.

Per Sandberg, since 2008 Purchasing Manager of the plant in Vänersborg, has earlier been working at GM, both in Europe and in the USA, at SAAB Automobile and latest at Mölnlycke Health Care. Thus he has a solid experience from both the vehicle industry as well as from international operations. With Per Sandberg as new Plant Manager the new management team will be given a necessary strengthening.
